Chairman’s Update

Hi all,

The season has been somewhat protracted due to the extreme wet weather of late but the end is in sight. My thanks to all the managers, club officials and parent volunteers who have worked quietly and efficiently behind the scenes to ensure the smooth running of the club.

The opening of the pavilion at Fort Road has proved a success providing not only shelter and hot drinks for spectators but also a welcome income for the club.

Seahaven will be registering all existing mini and junior teams with the league for the 2007/08 season obviously each team will move up an age group. The club will also be recruiting a new u11’s team but we do need more assistance from parents to help with all the teams, many hands do indeed make light work.

Our ladies team may move from their current location at Peacehaven FC but we are still in negotiation with Seaford FC in this matter. Rest assured if a move is made they will continue to play as Seahaven Harriers.

Up to date result and league information for all our teams can be found by logging on to our website and clicking on links which will take you to the official FA website:

Thank you for supporting Seahaven Harriers.

Registration / Fun Day

We aim to organise an event in June that will serve as our registration day. We hope to make this a fun event also. At present we are in negotiation with DASH and Seaford FC for the use of their facilities. We will keep you informed as to our progress. If you have any suggestions for activities that we could include why not let Paul know your ideas?
